The attendee will learn the basics and some nuances to consider regarding property that can be divisible during a divorce. There will be an examination of community property, separate property and property with a mix of community and separate property. The presentation will cover 20 rules every practitioner should know about marital property in Texas and suggestions on writing effective pre and post marital agreements. JEFF DOMEN is a partner with Goranson Bain, PLLC. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and JD from Baylor University School of Law. He is board certified in Family Law. He has been recognized in Best Lawyers of America and Texas Super Lawyers for several years. He is a frequent lecturer for various associations.
