The presentation will include a review of public benefits available to pay for long term care, including Medicare, Medicaid and Veteran’s Benefits. The presentation will walk through a real case study and apply those facts to analyze eligibility and qualification for Medicaid and Veteran’s Benefits. After reviewing the eligibility requirements and applying specific facts, Lori and Erin will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each benefit and lead a discussion on planning techniques for each benefit and which benefit is better suited for the case study. Lori Leu and Erin Peirce are Elder Law Attorneys practicing in Dallas, Collin and Denton County.  They are both members of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and Lori Leu is a Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation.\n \n \n \nThere will be continuing education credits for this program including State Bar, CFP, CPA and INSURANCE!\n \n \n \nMembership dues do not include meals.  Credit Cards are now accepted online at the website.
