The proportion of women in senior management roles globally grew to 31% in 2021. By 2030 approximately $30 trillion in wealth will be passed down from the baby boomer generation with women poised to be some of the largest beneficiaries. This dynamic will create challenges, especially for those who are at the helm of their financial life for the first time. The program will address the current state of women and wealth, as well as key opportunities for advisors to consider as they look to play a critical role in women's financial success. Attendees will learn strategies for effective collaboration among the advisory team, such as how to create a personal connection, engage team members, produce effective messaging, and how to think creatively and resourcefully. Additionally, attendees will learn how to assist the client come to an understanding of their full spectrum of needs and to identify and execute solutions.\n \nSteph Wagner is the National Director of Women & Wealth at The Northern Trust Company. Steph is responsible for leading the firm’s advisory practice for women and oversees its Elevating Women platform. Over the years, she has developed a specialized expertise in utilizing financial strategies and empowering women with the resources to become effective stewards of their wealth. Steph has also worked extensively with women across the country to help them address the financial impact of widowhood, secure equitable settlements in marriage dissolutions, and establish a solid foundation for their next chapter. Steph’s expertise has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, MarketWatch, Fox News, Yahoo Finance, Business Insider, Barron’s and Bloomberg.
