PERSPECTIVES ON PROFESSIONAL FIDUCIARIES

MARTY ROOS

Demographic shifts and generational wealth transfer are leading an increasing number of Texans to pursue trust, estate planning and related financial services.  This presentation will focus on the core duties of trustees and include case examples highlighting the complexities and liabilities that should be considered when selecting a trustee.  Marty Roos concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and estate administration. He has assisted clients with a broad range of business and estate planning needs. His expertise includes the design and implementation of all types of estate planning techniques. He is on a team of trust and estate planning specialists at Strasburger Price Oppenheimer Blend in San Antonio. In addition to his practice, Marty is a frequent author and lecturer on estate planning and probate issues. He has been featured on WOAI's San Antonio Living, in the San Antonio Business Journal, and other media. EDUCATION:  University of Houston Law Center, J.D., 1990; Texas A&M University, B.B.A., 1987, cum laude.
