Elder Law Issues and In-Home Health Care Workers

Elliott Burdette, Myra Kirkland and Jo Alch

This presentation will include a discussion including factual information regarding issues relevant to protecting seniors who are receiving in-home care.  The attendee will obtain a better understanding of the applicable laws and utilization of same in connection with the representation and advocacy of the legal interests of elders. Elliott Burdette received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin and A Juris Doctorate degree from the Southern Methodist School of Law in Dallas. Myra Kirkland is a resident of Collin County and attorney for the Dallas County Probate Courts’ Investigative office, and municipal judge for the City of Blue Ridge.  Jo Alch is Chief Nursing Officer of Acappella In-Home Care, PLLC.

Continuing education credit pending for 1.0 Hour.

Membership dues do not include meals.  Credit Cards are not accepted.
